The Nutcracker Ballet, Puppet Theatre

The back opens to reveal a luxurious red velvet flocked expanse leading to the traditional Victorian styled puppet theatre. Painted gold and red swags decorate the sides. Open the bottom compartment and switch on the lights to illuminate the stage.

Set the scene by turning the brass handle and choosing the traditional decorated Christmas tree from act 1 or the glittering snow laden fir of the Sugar Plum Fairy’s domain in act 2.

Inside their bespoke cardboard boxes are three jointed wooden string puppets: Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Nutcracker himself.
